BetMGM Latest Pennsylvania Casino To Go Online

BetMGMPennsylvania has wasted no time in establishing itself as one of the top US states for online casino gambling. In a short space of time, the Keystone State has legalized online casino gambling, and seen a flurry of big-name brands set up shop.

This time last week, Evolution Gaming announced that they would be partnering with Caesars Entertainment to set up a live casino. Now, it is BetMGM who are looking towards the online Pennsylvania internet casino market.

BetMGM Becomes Casino Number Thirteen

Thirteen is said to be unlucky for some. That magic number appears to be the ticket for BetMGM, though, after they became the thirteenth such enterprise to be given permission to launch an online casino in Pennsylvania.

The casino is set to go live on December 4, following a soft launch over December 2nd and 3rd. To celebrate the soft launch, BetMGM is offering a $25 welcome bonus (free play) and a 100% match deposit deal worth up to $1,000. If you do not feel like hurrying over to BetMGM’s new Pennsylvania casino right now you need not worry – the offer is good until January 31.

BetMGM Has Plenty of Competition

As mentioned, BetMGM will be the thirteenth online casino to debut in the state. They will certainly face stiff competition from rival sites. Pennsylvania is already home to online casinos from Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel, and Unibet. Roughly $60 million was raised in revenue in October at Pennsylvania’s online outlets, so there is plenty to play for, though. It is too early to tell whether that figure will hold, though. After all, many Pennsylvanians may have jumped at the chance to play at online casinos because their usual land-based, brick-and-mortar venues are currently either closed or operating with heavy restrictions in place.

Expanding Operations Across the US

Pennsylvania is not the first state that BetMGM has targeted this year. They already run a lucrative casino in New Jersey, and recently set up shop in West Virginia. There are also plans to open in Michigan. Tennessee is currently on the itinerary, too, as BetMGM seeks to expand its digital presence in the industry aggressively. As for BetMGM’s rumored sportsbook – that has been put on hold for the time being, with the company seemingly more focused on ensuring that their casino enterprises go off with a bang in time for Christmas and New Year.
